Parkdale School has been recommended for closure by the Eastern School Board in its School Closure Report. This decision is based on poor information. It's a short sighted decision that shows poor vision. The Parkdale Home and School Association, area residents, and concerned citizens are standing up to challenge the mistakes in the School Closure Report.
This school has served the community for more than 50 years. It has a reputation for giving a quality education in a safe environment. It has good facilities and great green space. It has a dedicated staff and an engaged group of parents and families.
This is the story that is not being told about Parkdale School. Over the next weeks and months this blog will tell that story and share the stories of the many people who want Parkdale School to keep serving the community.

Thank you and congratulations to the creator of this site. It is time for the truth to be told. Parkdale School does not belong on the same list as the schools with split grades, inadequate programming and limited resources. Hope to see a huge show of support on Tuesday at Col. Gray. The trustees need to learn what a mistake it would be to close Parkdale!
